College
Credit Certificate The explosive growth of the Internet and electronic commerce affects almost every company and organization today. Successful web communication requires a single person or team to serve as the focal point and organizational players between previously unrelated work functions. The Webmaster/Web Development Certificate program prepares students for job entry in the Internet development field. Students learn skills necessary for design, development, maintenance, management, and administration of comprehensive web sites for corporations and organizations. This certificate program prepares graduates for jobs as webmasters and website development specialists. This program provides a foundation for persons preparing for various certification examinations in webmaster/web development. An internship (CIS 1942) is available for students who wish to obtain "on-the-job" work experience in web technologies.
