PC Support Services

Vocational Certificate Program

This program prepares students for employment as support technicians for the growing number of businesses that rely on personal computers for their day-to-day operations. PC support specialists install, configure, and maintain personal computer equipment and software in a business environment, troubleshoot problems with PCs and networks, and provide assistance to PC users. The PC Support Specialist program will provide students with hands-on, practical experience in technical and problem-solving skills. The program is now in development and is expected to be available starting Fall 2000 (pending approval by the College’s District Board of Trustees). Students interested in this program should contact an academic advisor for additional information and assistant with educational planning.
