The building construction technology program is designed to prepare students
for entry-level positions in either residential or commercial construction.
These technically trained individuals are prepared to assist architects,
professional engineers, and contractors in planning, supervising or inspecting
the erection of buildings. Other opportunities for employment would include
cost estimating and technical sales of construction materials and equipment.
NOTE: This associate in science degree program is intended primarily for
students who desire to complete an associates degree and become
employed. Students who decide to pursue university transfer study must
meet certain course and test requirements. For details refer to
university transfer requirements.
