Vocational Certificate Program
This program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment
in the machinist trade. Work in this trade area includes, but is not limited
to, lathe setup and operation, blueprint reading, drill press setup and
operations, shaper work, uses and care of precision and non-precision
measuring tools, setup and operations on vertical milling, and grinding.
Students enrolled in this program may be required to enroll in basic skills
training. This will be determined by their scores on the entry-level test.
Students in this program should be advised by the instructor or the program
