Associate in Science
This is a limited access program
and is intended for military personnel who either have been or will be
trained at the Naval Nuclear Power School. Civilians who wish to enter
this program should make prior contact with the Navy concerning enlistment
and further training and should plan to complete the program no later than
their 25th birthday. Military personnel who have completed training at
the Naval Nuclear Power School may receive college credit toward this degree
by submitting appropriate documentation to the Registrar and the Program
Manager for Engineering Technologies. All persons wishing to enter this
program must schedule an orientation session with the program advisor prior
to admission.
NOTE: The associate in science
degree program is intended primarily for students who desire to complete
an associates degree and become employed. Students who decide to
pursue university transfer study must meet certain course and test requirements.

Course Groupings

groupings are only a suggested guide, and there is no requirement to follow
these precisely. The availability of courses, the students testing and
academic performance and other factors may alter the students actual course
completion sequence. Students of this program may register for courses
in any grouping as long as the student has met any prerequisites for the
