AHS 0122 Special Topics American Literature — High School Credit 1
Prerequisite: AHS 0102 English II. This course is designed to study selected American literary works of various genres in relationship to the historical and cultural forces, which shaped the national literature. The content includes selected readings from each literary period/movement and frequent writing assignments based upon the literature.
