College Credit Course Description: ATF 2400

ATF 2400 Commercial Flight — 5 Credit Hours
Prerequisites: ATT 1104 and ATF 2200. This course is the third and final step in students' certification as Commercial Pilots. The course consists of advanced flight maneuvers flown to commercial pilot standards, advanced aerodynamics, aircraft performance, weather, emergency procedures, radio communications, cross country flight, night flight, advanced takeoff and landing techniques, human factors, Federal Aviation Regulations, etc. The course requirements are met when students earn certification as Commercial Pilots. FCCJ does not provide the airplane or the flight instruction required. All training is done at a private flight school of students' choice and at students' expense. FCCJ will award college credit for this instruction to currently enrolled students who have completed a mini mum of three ATT, ASC or ATF courses appropriate to their degree at FCCJ. This credit will be awarded upon presentation of proof of solo flight (instructor endorsement and flight logged in student logbook)
