College Credit Course Description: CEN 2302

CEN 2302 TCP/IP Administration — 4 Credit Hours
Prerequisites: CEN 1300, CEN 1503, COP 1341, or equivalent experience. This course prepares students to administer TCP/IP protocols and services. The course will cover one or more of the most popular network operating systems. In-depth hands-on practice will supplement lecture on theory, concepts and terminology. This course may also include preparation for vendor certification. Topics include architectures, installation, utilities, addressing, bridging and routing, naming services, net working services, and diagnostics. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
