CET 1461 Computer Applications in Engineering — 3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: MAT 1033 or satisfactory score on placement test. Corequisite: MAC 1105. This course is an introduction to computerized tools for engineering problem solution and reporting. It provides a back ground in specific computer skills required in the engineering technology area. It includes problem solving using programmable calculators and demonstrates their relationship to computers. It also includes word processing for engineering report writing and requisite Windows and/or DOS skills. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
