College Credit Course Description: COP 2741

COP 2741 Oracle Database Administration — 4 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: COP 2702 or Oracle database work experience. This course is designed to familiarize individuals with Oracle database administration. A series of database projects using Oracle software is designed to build familiarity with using Oracle administration tools, managing Oracle objects, maintaining data integrity, and managing users. The objectives of this course are to increase understanding of the Oracle database software, to extend knowledge beyond Oracle development tools, and to build a working knowledge and hands-on familiarity with modern data base administration procedures. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
