College Credit Course Description: GRA 1544

GRA 1544 Graphic Design I — 3 Credit Hours
Prerequisites: GRA 1531, GRA 1801 and GRA 2577. This studio course applies graphic design concepts through a series of projects for single and multi page layouts in two-dimensional space. Students will build on skills learned in prerequisite courses and will select appropriate media either traditional, electronic or a combination of both for problem solving. The profession of graphic design will be emphasized through lectures, field trips and the language of visual communication. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour.
