HUS 1500 Legal and Ethical Aspects of Alcohol and Other Drug Services — 4 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: HUS 1345. This course enables students to understand the legal basis for alcohol and other drug services in Florida. The alcohol and drug state statutes and their administrative rules are reviewed. Civil Rights requirements, confidentiality compliance standards and professional ethics will be presented.
