2460 Computer Aided Drafting and Design for Interior Design 3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: ETD 1100 (Interior design students may substitute IND 1606 for ETD 1100.) This course is a study of the uses of a personal computer in interior and exterior design. Included will be commercial office space, industrial support areas, and the development of an efficient and effective house. The interior designer will learn how to use the computer as a time-saving tool, and will acquire an understanding of Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) operations. Five contact hours: four lecture hours, one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
