MLT 1401C Medical Microbiology — 4 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: consent of department. This course presents students with instruction in the theory, taxonomy, identification, clinical relevance and laboratory procedures associated with the microbiological agents of infectious disease including clinically significant bacteria, mycobacteria, mycoplasma, chlamy dia, rickettsia and viruses. Methods of susceptibility testing are also included. Six contact hours (lecture/laboratory). (CBE) A.S., A.A.S.
