MLT 2193C Histopathology — 3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: consent of instructor. This course provides students with the correlations between histotechnological procedures and disease processes. Students will study the changes in tissue that are associated with various disease states and will learn the usefulness of selected special stains and techniques in identifying disease processes. Evaluation of acceptability of tissue procedures will be stressed. This course may be offered by way of Internet. Four contact hours (lecture/laboratory). (CBE) A.S., A.A.S.
