MUH 2561 African-American Music: A Vocal Study — 3 Credit Hours
Open to all students as an elective, this course studies the origins of the styles of African-American music beginning with its African origins and proceeding to its development in the New World and subsequent influence on America's indigenous music forms through the present day.
