students for immediate employment in the area of aviation maintenance.
The completion of this degree leads to Federal Aviation Administraion’s
Airframe and Powerplant license and preparation for entry level
management positions. The plan of study complies with FAR Part

an associate in science degree by satisfying the General Education
and Professional Elective course requirements. This program will
also meet the needs of those students who already have a two or
four-year degree and are seeking new employability skills.

management must complete the course requirements in both the airframe
mechanic and powerplant mechanic certificates or possess a valid
FAA A&P certificate, as well as 23 hours of additional required
college credits.
This associate in science degree
program is intended primarily for students who desire to complete
an associate’s degree and become employed. Students who
decide to pursue university transfer study must meet certain
course
and test requirements. For details refer to university
transfer requirements.
The following is a list of courses required
for this program presented in a recommended sequence of completion.
The sequence is only a suggested guide, and there is no requirement
to follow the sequence precisely. Students in this program may
register for any course as long as the student has met any prerequisites
