Oracle Database Developer (6152)
Database operations are an important part of computer operations
in almost every company and organization today. Electronic commerce
depends upon the storage and processing of transactions in databases.
Many E-commerce sites have databases attached to web pages.
FCCJ is an Oracle Academic Initiative
Partner with Oracle Corporation. Together we have developed a
program that puts you on the fast track for a database career.
This certificate prepares students for
job entry in database fields including database applications development.
Students learn skills necessary for design, development and maintenance
of comprehensive relational databases for corporations and organizations.
Graduates may seek positions as database developers, database
programmers and database consultants. The Oracle courses in the
database degree also provide a foundation for persons preparing
for the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) exams.
An internship is provided with this degree
to allow work experience in database technologies.
The following is a list of courses required
for this program presented in a recommended sequence of completion.
The sequence is only a suggested guide, and there is no requirement
to follow the sequence precisely. Students in this program may
register for any course as long as the student has met any prerequisites
for that course.
