The computer engineering technology program of study has three
subspecialties, Computer Technician, Internetwork Technician and
Cisco CCNP Technician. The Computer Technician subspecialty focuses
on computer support and basic networking. The Internetwork Technician
subspecialty focuses on networking and internetworking (connecting
multiple networks together). All specialties have core classes
in computer repair, operating systems, basic networking, and an
internship. The programs also emphasize hands-on instruction.
The certifications these specialties prepare you for include A+,
Network+, various Microsoft certifications, and Cisco’s
CCNA.
