This program is designed for entry-level job training in the air
conditioning, refrigeration and heating fields. Instruction includes
the scientific operations and principles of the common types of
equipment and the technical skills that are needed to maintain
and repair mechanical and electrical systems. The proper use of
shop manuals, manufacturers’ manuals and related technical
literature is stressed. Employment opportunities are available
in the new construction and repair industry and maintenance work
in apartment complexes and commercial buildings.
