This program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment
in the machinist trade. Work in this trade area includes but is
not limited to lathe setup and operation, blueprint reading, drill
press setup and operations, shaper work, uses and care of precision
and non-precision measuring tools, setup and operations on vertical
milling, and grinding.
