Prerequisite: As part of the application process, students are required to take and pass the Florida Basic Abilities Test (FBAT), a driving history check, drug screening, medical examination, polygraph, background investigations, agility testing and oral interview. Students also must be at least 19 years of age, have a valid drivers license, take the TABE test (12.0 required in all areas for completion), and be an American citizen.
