Radiography (Mayo Clinic Option) (A292)
The Career:Graduates
of this A.A.S. degree are prepared to work in radiography positions
in hospitals, clinics and physician's offices.
The Program:
This program is taught in cooperation
with FCCJ and the Mayo Clinic. Admission is granted through the
Mayo Clinic. Graduates of this program may sit for the American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) examination. Up to
ten students are admitted each fall term.
All RTE classes are taken at the Mayo Clinic after acceptance
into the program.
Application Procedure:
To apply to the program, students must:
- Have a valid student number issued by FCCJ.
- Satisfactorily complete all college preparatory
courses needed.
- Have completed an application from Mayo
Clinic prior to the established deadline (usually early spring).
- Via student affairs, ensure they are degree-seeking
and majoring in radiography-Mayo Clinic option (2292)
The following is a list of courses required
for this program presented in a recommended sequence of completion.
The sequence is only a suggested guide, and there is no requirement
to follow the sequence precisely. Students in this program may
register for any course as long as the student has met any prerequisites
for that course.
