The Industrial Management Technology (Manufacturing
E&I) is a limited access Association in Science (A.S.) degree
program directly aligned with the Electrical & Instrumentation
Technology certificate program. It is designed to address the
lifelong learning needs and career development objectives of the
E&I Technicians in manufacturing environments. It recognizes
the rigorous content of the Electrical & Instrumentation Technology
program as the appropriate professional core for advancement into
the Industrial Management arena.
This degree program offers individuals
who already hold a certification from the National Institute for
Certification in Engineering Technologies, in Industrial Instrumentation
Engineering Technology, the opportunity to earn college credit
by evaluation for this certification, and then pursue an associate
in science degree by satisfying the General Education and Professional
Elective course requirements.
Students seeking an Associate in Science
degree in Industrial Management Technology (Manufacturing
E&I)
must complete the course requirements in the Electrical and Instrumentation
Technology PSAV Certification Program or possess a valid certification
in Industrial Instrumentation Engineering Technology from the
National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies,
as well as 30 hours of additional required college credits. Contact

The following is a list of courses required
for this program presented in a recommended sequence of completion.
The sequence is only a suggested guide, and there is no requirement
to follow the sequence precisely. Students in this program may
register for any course as long as the student has met any prerequisites
for that course. Where a “professional elective” is
indicated in the course sequence, students may choose any course
from the group of professional electives that follows the full
course sequence.

**Academic credits will be awarded upon successful completion
of PSAV program in the Electrical and Instrumentation Technology,
which is currently 1,800 contact hours, or a valid certificate
in Industrial Instrumentation from the National Institute for
Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET).
