This degree program is designed for individuals who have completed the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Electrical Apprenticeship program, and who wish to continue their education to gain higher-level skills in supervision, management, planning and estimating, and design. This program will help students prepare for business ownership, management positions in electrical contracting firms, and more advanced work in electrical systems planning and design. Students should work with a program advisor to select elective courses that will assist them in meeting their career goals. All courses provide hands-on instruction and experience with real-world issues and problems. Students may receive college credits toward the degree program as outlined in the articulation agreement with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) apprenticeship program.
