  Associate in Science Degree
  Industrial Management Technology (Manufacturing E&I) (2162)
   
  The Industrial Management Technology (Manufacturing E and I) is a limited access associate in science (A.S.) degree program directly aligned with the Electrical and Instrumentation Technology certificate program. It is designed to address the lifelong learning needs and career development objectives of the E and I Technicians in manufacturing environments. It recognizes the rigorous content of the Electrical and Instrumentation Technology program as the appropriate professional core for advancement into the Industrial Management arena.
 
  Requirements and Curriculum:
Individuals who are certified in Industrial Instrumentation Engineering Technology by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) can earn college credit by evaluation for this certification. Those students can then pursue an associate in science degree by satisfying the general education and professional elective course requirements. Students without that certification seeking an associate in science degree in Industrial Management Technology (Manufacturing E and I) must complete the course requirements in the PSAV certification program or possess a valid certification in Industrial Instrumentation Engineering Technology from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies, as well as 30 hours of additional required college credits.   The associate in science degree program is intended primarily for students who desire to complete an associate's degree and become employed. Students who decide to pursue university transfer study must meet certain course and test requirements. For details see your advisor.
