  Technical Certificate
  Computer Specialist (Cisco CCNP) (6275)
   
  This program includes the eight courses required for the first two levels of Cisco certification, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP). Students who successfully complete this program will be prepared to sit for the CCNA and CCNP exams. The coursework emphasizes hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment and uses Cisco Official Curriculum. These certifications are highly valued by employers who hire individuals to install and maintain computer networks, from large corporations with their own networking departments to small networking contractors.
 
  Certification and Licensing:
Students who already possess CCNA certification may receive credit for the first four courses in the program.
 
  Articulations:
Students completing this program may continue in the Computer Engineering Technology A.A.S. degree program.
 
  Requirements and Curriculum:
Work experience or prior course work in computer repair and configuration is recommended for students entering this program.
