Administrative Assistant (Office Supervision) (5653)
You can build a successful career as an administrative
assistant, file clerk, general office clerk, or secretary through
this well-rounded program. You will acquire broad, transferable
skills and a thorough understanding of topics which are essential
in office support services: planning, management, finance, technical
and production skills, underlying principles of technology, labor,
community, as well as health, safety and environmental issues.
This program also provides supplemental training
for persons previously or currently employed in any of these occupations.
Students enrolled in this program may be required to enroll in
basic skills training. This will be determined by their scores
on the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE). Students should be
advised by the instructor or the program manager before enrolling
in courses.
Estimated tuition is $2,000 (for Florida residents, as of 7/05). Estimated cost for books and materials
is $500.
