As construction increases, so does the necessity for qualified,
educated carpenters. In this program, you will acquire the skills and knowledge necessary
for an entry-level carpentry position. You will learn to safely operate hand and power tools;
prepare work sites; and become skilled in the foundation formwork (wall, floor and roof
framing; exterior trim). This technical certificate will also increase job skills and
will complement the associate in applied science (A.A.S.) degree.
