AVS 0091 Avionics Installation and Troubleshooting

Prerequisite: AVS 0090 (or as corequisite). This course is designed as a study of the installation processes of modern avionics systems, such as VHF communications, VHF navigation, ADF, radar, autopilots and others. Students will receive hands-on experience in the installation of avionics systems, fabrication of electrical harnesses, and testing of systems after installation. Students will begin preparation for Element 3 of the FCC General Radiotelephone Operators License examination.
