CJK 0223 Correctional Cross–Over to Law Enforcement Human Issues

This course describes the types of crises an officer encounters and behavioral characteristics of individuals in crisis. It explains techniques for responding to and stabilizing a crisis situation. It also discusses the different response options available in a crisis situation, with emphasis on when referrals are required by Florida statute.
