DIM 0001 Introduction to Diesel Engines

This course is designed to teach diesel engine entry-level job skills. Topics include diesel engine components, engine performance and cycle of operation, proper use of basic precision and special tools, engine systems lubricating oils and diesel fuels. Special emphasis will be placed on safety procedures, accident prevention, mathematics for diesel technicians, employability skills, and entrepreneurship.
