MEA 0565 Medical Assisting II

Prerequisite: MEA 0560. This course is designed specifically to orient individuals to the health care delivery system and medical assisting career. The course provides students with skills in communication, legal responsibilities, fundamentals of microbial and aseptic techniques, knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures, basic office examination procedures, and minor treatments.
