CEN 1300 Microsoft Systems Administration — 4 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: CDA 1522 or equivalent experience. This course prepares students to administer Microsoft networks. In-depth hands-on practice will supplement lecture on theory, concepts and terminology. This course may also include preparation for vendor certification. Topics include network protocols, server installation and configuration, storage and backup, security, printing, interoperability, remote access, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour.
