EMS 2271L EMT-Paramedic Phase I Lab/Clinical — 4 Credit Hours
Prerequisites: EMS 1119, EMS 1401, BSC 2085C and MAT 1033 or placement into MAT 1033 based on placement test. Corequisites: EMS 2271 and BSC 2086C. The clinical program consists of a three-term sequence. This clinical segment includes an emergency room and psychiatric in-hospital rotation. Laboratory and clinical application of experience are a continuation of EMT-Paramedic Phase I. Fourteen contact hours: four laboratory hours, six clinical hours, four rescue field experience hours.
