FIN 2124 Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits 3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: FIN 1122. This course introduces students to the application of retirement planning and employee benefits in personal financial planning. This course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of the concepts of the ethical considerations, social security and Medicare benefits, retirement plan types, qualified plan characteristics, distributions and distribution options, group insurance benefits, other employee benefits, and analysis of retirement factors.
