MAE 2801 Mathematics for Elementary Education (Y) — 3 Credit Hours
Prerequisite: MGF 1106 or MAC 1105 with a grade of "C" or better. This is not a methods course. It is a mathematics content course designed for elementary education majors. The topics include: sets, numeration systems, problem solving, whole numbers, integers, rational numbers, irrational numbers, real numbers, percent, elementary logic, measurement and informal geometry. Students with a grade of "C" or better in MGF 1106 satisfy the prerequisite. Three contact hours.
