RMI 1134 Retirement Plans: Basic Features and Defined Contributions Approaches — 3 Credit Hours
This course examines issues common to all individual retirement account retirement planning vehicles, participant-directed investing, investment education and distribution planning. Subjects discussed include: profit sharing plans, saving and thrift plans, 401(k) cash or deferred arrangements, 403 (b) ESOP, IRA, SEP, and simple plans. Persons who are preparing to take the national exam to earn the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation will benefit from this class. This class may also count as continuing education credit for licensed insurance specialists. Three contact hours.
