AMH 2010 United States History to 1865 — 3 Credit Hours

This course emphasizes the European background, Revolution, Articles of Confederation, the U.S. Constitution, problems of the new republic, sectionalism, manifest destiny, slavery and the War Between the States. The course includes reading and writing competencies. This course serves to meet the Gordon Rule writing requirement. Three contact hours. (CBE) A.A., A.S., A.A.S.
