 Courses College Credit Courses CDA 2500 Introduction to Data Communications — 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: CGS 1060. This course will provide students with the basic concepts of data communications. It will cover such topics as transmission media, modulation techniques, link control, line protocols and trans mission impairments. Lab work will include setting up and using communication software, file transfer, and exploring the Internet. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour. A.A., A.S., A.A.S.
