CGS 2512 Spreadsheet Concepts and Practices — 3 Credit Hours

This course is designed for individuals who wish to master and use spreadsheet software. The course is directed toward novices, first-time owners of personal or business computers and Individuals who would like to learn more about spreadsheet soft ware and operations. Covered in the course are the history and terminology of spreadsheet soft ware, spreadsheet design and construction, and uses of spread sheet to solve financial problems. Also covered are spread sheet graphics, spread sheet database and spreadsheet automation with macros. The course requires use of the IBM personal computers or compatible computers. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
