College Credit Courses
This course provides for the development of competency in planning individual and family wardrobes. Factors to consider in purchasing wardrobe items are stressed as well as the care, maintenance and updating of various wardrobe components. Emphasis will be placed on the psychological and social factors influencing dress and the relationship of physical appearance to clothing selection. Attention will be given to the effectiveness of clothing choices in professional situations. The course includes experiences in the application of elements and principles of design to wardrobe coordination. Three contact hours. A.S., A.A.S.
