HUS 2502 Special Issues in Addictions — 4 Credit Hours

Prerequisites: HUS 1345, HUS 2682 and HUS 2683. Students will review special critical issues and special populations asso ciated with addiction counseling and prevention. Gender and cultural issues will be explored. Various lifestyles and their rela tion ship to addiction and coun seling will be explained. Profiles of risk groups will be examined as well. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, one laboratory hour (clinical). A.S., A.A.S.
