MLT 2191 Histotechniques I — 4 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: consent of instruc tor. This course will introduce students to the fundamental principles of histologic tech nology. Included in this course are the laboratory aspects of specimen preparation, fixation, sectioning and routine staining. Laboratory safety, quality assur ance, and general health career concepts are covered. This course may be offered by way of Internet. Four contact hours. (CBE) A.S., A.A.S.
