 Courses College Credit Courses MTB 1314 Mathematics for Information Technology — 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: MAT 0024 with a grade of "C" or better or satisfactory score on the placement test. This course is for students enrolled in the A.A.S. programs of Computer Sciences and Information Technology. Topics covered in this course include numbers and operations, exponents and scientific notation, basic algebra, logic, basic geometry, basic probability, and basic statistics. The course does not transfer to the upper division. Three contact hours. A.A.S.
