MUL 1010 Music Appreciation — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: ENC 1101 or satisfactory score on placement test. This course is an introduction to musical elements, forms and style periods with emphasis on composers lives, musical characteristics and representative works. Designed to stimulate the students love for music and to formulate listening skills. This course includes reading and writing competencies. Three contact hours. A.A.
