Corequisite: MAT 1033 or equivalent. This course is a general education course for non-science students and not for those who are planning to major in physics or other sciences. It is a survey of the physical environment as applied to mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity and magnet ism, and modern physics with the laboratory an integral part of the learning process.
