RAT 2241 Radiation Biology and Safety — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisite: admission into the Radiation Therapy program. This course presents principles of radiation biology and safety relevant to the radiologic health science student. Topics include the effects of ionizing radiation on biological systems, genetic and subcellular interactions and occupational exposure of radio logic personnel. Three contact hours. A.S., A.A.S.
