CDA 1302 Hardware Configuration — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisites: CGS 1060 or CGS 1100 or CGS 1570. Corequisite: CDA 1403. This course is the first of two courses teaching microcomputer configuration (CDA 1302 and CDA 1403). Students learn how to install, configure, maintain and up grade microcomputer hard ware and attached peripherals. Although this course is not a certification preparation course, it may include much of the related CompTIA A+ certification material. Students taking this course should also register for CDA 1403 at the same time. Four contact hours: three lecture hours; one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
