CEN 1300 Microsoft Desktop Administration — 3 Credit Hours

Prerequisites: CGS 1071 and Description: CGS 1824 and CDA 1302 and CDA 1403. Corequisite: CEN 1304. This course is the first of three courses teaching Microsoft systems administration (CEN 1300, CEN 1304, and CEN 2305). It is designed for Net working Ser vices Technology majors. Students learn how to install, configure, and administer Microsoft Windows on a desktop computer connected to a network. Although this course is not a certification preparation course, it may include much of the related Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certification material. Students taking this course should also register for CEN 1304 at the same time. Four contact hours: three lecture hours; one laboratory hour. A.S., A.A.S.
